I am doing a new way of learning the gosple better. My freind Katie told me of a ne soulotion to help studing. Go back to the first devotion ( Devotion 1) and look at a little quiz. You can wright the quistoion and all the answers on a peice of paper and  write your answers on them. This is a fun and easy soulotions to help you know the gosple! Devotional 6 / Story

Hi,

Today we are not going to read out of Genesis. I went to a retreat this weekend and our youth pastor told us a story about a man. This man worked at a draw bridge. One day he had to take his son to work, because the daycare was having some problems. The man didn't see his son looking out at all the boats. He got an emergency phone call that there was a big boat coming with thousands of people. He started to lift up the bridge. In the corner of the mans eye he saw his son. He had to think quick to eathier stop the bridge and let hundreds of people die or his son. He choose his son. That story is just like what God did for us. Exactly. The man cried but he knew he did the right thing. That story touched me so much. This is exactly what he did for us. We schould honor him in all we do. Now I am not a pastor but I know a lot of things a pastor would know. It just makes me want get down on my knees and pray to God. I hope this will touch you like it has to me. Devotional 5

Hi everyone,

Today we are going to look in to Genesis 41:1-18. The story of Cain and Able is a kind of sad story. One day Adam and Eve ( Remeber Adam and Eve disobaed God and is never to go back to the Garden of Eden.) were lying on a hill , and Eve became pregnat. Eve gave birth to a son, and she named him Cain. She later gave birth to another son and named him Able. Able worked in the flockes and Cain worked in the soil. Cain offerd the Lord fruit but Able offerd a sheep. The Lord leaned to Ables offer. That made Cain very angry. The Lord asked Cain why he was angry. Cain said that he was angry because the Lord did not accept his offer. Then Cain said to his little brother, " Lets go down to the field." Then Cain attaked his brother Able and killed him. Then the Lord asked, " Where is your brother Able?" Cain replied, " I don't know, Am I my brothers keeper?" The Lord said," What have you done" The Lord punished Cain by telling him he had to leave the land. Cain then married a woman. She gave birth to a son, and she named him Enoch.

I just wanted to let you know that I will not be in town on the 17-18 but I will be back on the 19th so we can do more great devotions!

Devotions 3

In todays devotion we are going to look at the fall of man. You will find this passage in Genesis 3:1-24 Adam an Eve were enjoying their day untill a serpant came. His name was satin. Satin tempted Adam and Eve to eat from the forbiden tree. ( Remember God spacificle told Adam and Eve not to eat from the forbiden tree) Adam was tempted so much that he ate the fruit. He then went to get his wife Eve. She to ate the fruite off the forbiden tree. They then remembered what God said and felt very shame full. They hid under a bush for they were scared. An Angle of the Lord appered. aShe told Adam and Eve that they were to leave the Garden of Eden and never return. God told Eve because she ate the fruite she would have the pain of giving birth. God gave satin a punishment to. Come back tomorrow for the story of Cain and Able.
